We would like to thank each one of you that have stood with us over the years with your prayers and financial contributions. WRAF has been listener-supported ever since we first went on the air back in 1980. We thank you for what you have done and what you continue to do!
How can YOU help us celebrate?
We know we have listeners that have listened to WRAF for a number of years...some have even been with us since the beginning. We also are grateful for all the new listeners that the Lord sends our way every year.
One way you can help us celebrate our anniversary is to share a story about WRAF with us. If you have an anecdote about WRAF or a favorite moment from your years of listening, share it with us! Look and see if you have any old photographs of WRAF personalities or events. Send those to us and we will make a copy and return them to you.
You can email your photos and stories to us, or mail them to us at

A Few Gems...
In searching through our archives, we found lots of wonderful historic gems and thought we'd share a couple of them with you now.
Many of you will remember Frank Nagle, the "Night Watchman." For many years he hosted the overnight show on WRAF and brought hope and encouragement to so many. Here is a picture we found of Frank and his wife Madge. We believe this was taken at a WRAF party or open house in the early 90's.
Here is a picture of the original WRAF staff in 1980.
Back row (left to right): Frank Nagle (Night Watchman), Dale McMindes (our first engineer that built WRAF), Jimmy Rich (station manager), and Alex Lunceford (announcer).
From row (seated, left to right): Beverly Dibble (secretary) and Joanne Bowen (secretary and announcer):
We would love for you to send us your WRAF photos and stories. Remember, we will scan all original photos and return them back to you. Together let’s honor the Lord for how He has used our partnership to “tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.”
