The mission of The LOT Project is to be a platform for the body of Christ to love, pursue, and provide for the “least of these” both physically and spiritually.  They are "The Least Of These Project." It is not only their vision, but it is their determination to see people who have been abused, neglected, angry, and oppressed be vindicated as we have been by the love of Jesus Christ.  Food and Clothing is thei vehicle whereby all who are searching may find life and freedom.

WRAF Ministry of the Week: Shepherd's Hill Academy


The WRAF Ministry of the Week is Shepherd's Hill Academy.

Shepherd’s Hill Academy (SHA) in Martin, GA, is a Christian Boarding School that is Christ-centered, Biblically-based residential outdoor-experience discipleship ministry.  It is designed to provide an atmosphere that promotes spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical health and healing to troubled teenagers and their families. Shepherd's Hill Academy is a therapeutic Christian residential program designed for behavior modification of troubled teenage boys and girls, age 12-17. They combine the best of therapeutic models into one program that includes wilderness therapy, a boarding school and a first-class education. Their therapeutic methods for behavioral therapy include: teaching Biblical principles and worldview, EAGALA certified equine therapy, group and individual counseling, around the clock mentoring, and teamwork exercises. Shepherd’s Hill Academy has helped students in the local community, but the students they serve are also from all across the U.S. and other countries. SHA employs many Toccoa Falls College students as our Residential Counselors who mentor students 24/7.

For 6 1/2 years Pilgrim Ministries has been helping men who have been through a faith based drug/alcohol treatment facility transition back into society. They have 3 houses in Clarkesville where men are housed as they continue to strengthen their walk with the Lord, get involved in church, develop a budget, and learn to become an obedient, productive servant and disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ

WRAF Ministry of the Week: Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center


The WRAF Ministry of the Week is the Smoky Mountain Prenancy Care Center.

The Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center is a Christian non-profit organization ministering to women and men who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. They have two medical clinics that offer free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds. They strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who are making decisions that will affect them for the rest of their lives. Their life-affirming belief is that all life is precious and given by God. They have clinics in Franklin and Cullowhee, staffed daily by nurses. Volunteers from the community are a huge part of this ministry and its ten year success. A board of directors and a medical director complete this ministry to Western North Carolina and North Georgia.
