Gainesville mission group headed to Haiti
By Ken Stanford Editor
GAINESVILLE - A mission group in Gainesville is sending a medical and search-and-rescue team to Haiti later this week.
Drs. Richard and Brenda Kowalske of Helping Hands Foreign Missions plan to leave Friday with a group of five people. Several more plan to leave a few days later.
The Kowalskes are appealing for financial donations and medical supplies -- mainly first aid items such as gauze, large Band Aids, surgical tape, antibiotic ointment, burn cream, alcohol and iodine pads. Also, Tylenol , ibuprofen, and over-the-counter cough and cold medicines.

Help The People of Haiti

Here are some of the organizations and ministries involved in the Haiti relief effort that we can recommend with confidence:
Mission Aviation Fellowship
Samaritan's Purse
National Religious Broadcasters
Even in the midst of tragedy the Lord is at work....in Haiti, and in His body worldwide. Thank you for your partnership and encouragement as we minister to spiritual and physical needs in the name of Jesus.
